Latest video is up. I understand that what I said about Pirate Software didn’t fully do justice to the situation. One thing I wish I had made clearer in the video:
Criticism is not the same as an attack. We absolutely need to criticise any tools he uses to push his false claims about SKG, including his achievements and skills, but only if it adds something real to the conversation.
What I was calling out are the people who are viciously attacking his character and accomplishments with no intention of contributing anything meaningful. That helps no one.
Correction: In the video, I mention Ubisoft’s EULA as if the licensing language is a new development. That’s actually not the case, this type of licensing clause has been in place for years, not just recently. My bad on that. The point about game ownership still stands, but I wanted to acknowledge the error and keep things accurate. Appreciate everyone keeping me sharp.
This is a brilliant example of how people find Asmongold through hate watching, just to realise he has amazing takes and most of us actually agree with him. Give this a watch!
