Ve Mundeya has been out for just over a week and it's been incredible to finally see everyone's reactions to it. This was a true labour of love and I'm grateful to everyone who streamed and watched the video (still a few easter eggs that haven't been cracked yet tho 👀 💿)
This song, like every song I release, started off as a challenge to myself. I wanted to produce a banger but from a female perspective, and from day one I always had @jonitamusic in my mind for it. She graciously trusted me with her voice and gave it her all every step of the way, even when I asked her to record last minute vocals the day before the video shoot!! 😂 I can't imagine it's easy to act, dance, and perform all day at 10/10 energy in front of a camera while always being in a good mood, but she makes it look easy. (Jo idk what they taught you at Ivey because they definitely didn't teach me that in my year lol)
I don't think this song would've even released on time if it wasn't for Divya Jethwani. Manager, director, producer, choreographer, music executive…there is nothing you can't do and that too at the highest level. The way you directed this music video makes it look like a Hollywood movie 😤🔥
For the longest time music had been pretty much a one man show for me, but that changes as I enter this new era. Thank you @mitikakanwar3197 for bringing the feminine energy and writing this song with me (and dealing with my annoying perfectionism 🙈) Thank you @musicbymilano for blessing this track with that extra FUNK 🎸 Thank you @KaranKanchanYT for helping me out with some incredible bells and whistles when I was stuck with production 🔔 and thank you Hanish for iterating on the mix until it was just right 🎧
