In the year 2000, having been thrust into the rarified air of early memehood with the likes of Dancing Baby, ROFLcopter, and the All Your Base guy, Hampton and his Hampsters dropped one classic album and retired. Although Hampton largely eschews the public eye these days, his music lives on in the collective consciousness of at least two generations.
