WE DID IT!!!

After 7 years trying in every way to finish this independent film, the time has come for it to be born!!

The WORLD PREMIERE will be at the FANTASIA FILM FESTIVAL - One of the biggest, possibly the best genre film festival in the world, acclaimed by my favorite directors like Quentin Tarantino, Edgar Wright, Guilhermo Del Toro, James Gunn and other geniuses.

I am very happy with this opportunity, which is certainly the biggest step in my career as an independent filmmaker.

All of this was only possible because of my great friends, crew and even unknown people who somehow got involved in the film and managed to help me make this crazy idea come true.

Thank you so much for this, seriously!

The premiere will be in July in Montreal in a free non-profit screening for all those who want to watch it.

I will make all my efforts to be there for sure!

This independent non-profit short film is entirely self-funded and was made in Brazil as a tribute to the great artist Hayao Miyazaki, who has always been an inspiration to me. We will release this film free of charge, as our only aim is to pay homage to Mr. Miyazaki and the entire wonderful team at Studio Ghibli. I hope this project can thrill all those who are passionate for fantastical story-telling and were influenced by Miyazaki's films

Fun Fact: One of the greatest spiritual and transcendental experiences I've had in my life was at the Inari Shrine in Kyoto while traveling in Japan. The poster for this year's edition is represented precisely by the Fox from the shrine. There are no coincidences in this life... say the old sages.

Depois de 7 anos tentando de todas as formas finalizar esse filme, chegou a hora dele nascer!!

A ESTRÉIA MUNDIAL será no FANTASIA FILM FESTIVAL - Um dos maiores, arrisco dizer o melhor festival de cinema de gênero (fantasia, ficção cientifica, terror e etc) do mundo. Festival aclamado pelos meus diretores favoritos como Quentin Tarantino, Edgar Wright, Guilhermo Del Toro, James Gunn e outros gênios.

Estou muito, mas muito feliz com essa oportunidade que com certeza é o maior passo da minha carreira como cineasta independente.

Tudo isso só foi possível graças aos meus grandes amigos, a equipe e até pessoas desconhecidas que de alguma forma se envolveram no filme e conseguiram me ajudar a fazer uma idéia maluca se tornar realidade.

Esse curta-metragem independente foi inteiramente autofinanciado e não possui fins lucrativos. Foi feito no Brasil como uma homenagem ao grande artista Hayao Miyazaki, que sempre foi uma inspiração para mim. Lançaremos este filme gratuitamente, pois nosso único objetivo é homenagear a obra "Nausicaa do Vale do vento" e toda a equipe maravilhosa do Studio Ghibli. Espero que este projeto possa emocionar todos aqueles que são apaixonados por histórias fantásticas e foram influenciados pelos filmes do Sr. Miyazaki.


Uma curiosidade é que uma das maiores experiencias espirituais e transcendentais que tive em minha vida foi no Templo da Raposa em Kyoto durante a minha viagem ao Japão. Nesse ano, o pôster oficial do festival é justamente a Raposa do templo. Dizem as boas línguas que coincidências não existem nessa vida.

One Step Closer!


Finally I could personally contact Studio Ghibli and talk about my Project Wind Princess.


Thank so much @Mari Seki for all your help with it!


And I want to thank with all my heart everybody around the world who send me messages supporting the project and cheering to watch the full film.
