What Exercise Should You Be Doing at Your Age?

👶 Kids (5–12) – Aka the Playground Warriors.
They run, jump, climb, spin, and bounce like tiny ninjas on sugar. Exercise? That’s called recess.

👦 Teens (13–19)– Power-Up Players.
They lift, sprint, and try to impress their crush at the gym. One bicep curl away from world domination.

🧑 Young Adults (20–39) – Hustle & Muscle.
Cardio for the heart, weights for the gains, yoga for the ‘Gram, and stress… well, that’s free.

🧔 Middle Age (40–59) – Fit & Functional.
Deadlifting groceries, stretching hamstrings, and power-walking like they’re late for a meeting—but in style.

👵 Older Adults (60+) – Golden Movers.
Water aerobics, chair yoga, and balance drills. They move smart, stay strong, and out-dance half the room.

💪 Bottom line:

One-Minute Health Fact: Working Out for Results

To see real results from your workouts—whether it's weight loss, muscle gain, or improved endurance—consistency is key. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous activity per week, combined with proper nutrition, hydration, and rest. Remember: muscles grow and fat burns not just during workouts, but during recovery, so don’t skip rest days. Track your progress, stay patient, and the results will follow!

Interesting Health Fact – 1-Minute Read

Did you know? Laughter can actually boost your immune system.

When you laugh, your body releases endorphins—the "feel-good" hormones that help reduce stress. Less stress means lower levels of the hormone cortisol, which, when elevated, can suppress your immune function. Laughter also increases the production of antibodies and activates immune cells like T-cells, which help fight off illness.

So, a good laugh isn’t just fun—it’s medicine for your body! Even a few minutes of genuine laughter each day can support your health.

Tip: Watch a funny video, share a joke, or spend time with people who make you smile—it’s a free, natural immunity booster!
