We’re deeply shaken and heartbroken by the terror attack in Pahalgam. Innocent lives were lost—and it’s just devastating.

As Carrie being tourist currently traveling through India, it hits even harder. It’s scary. We came here to experience the beauty, the culture, the people—and to think something like this can happen in such a peaceful place is honestly terrifying.

Our thoughts are with the families of the victims. No one should have to live in fear or face such cowardly violence.

We sincerely hope the government takes stronger, more proactive steps to prevent these kinds of attacks and protect both locals and tourists across this incredible country.

We’ll be taking a 2-day break from posting to reflect, grieve, and just breathe.
