Welcome to Daily with Happy Rasoiya!
I’m not a fancy Chef ( yet 😉), just someone who finds peace in stirring a pot and joy in feeding others.
Here you’ll find simple, wholesome meals, everyday food glimpses, and little moments from my plate — whether it’s hostel-style Maggi, home-style pulao, a comforting thali, or a bowl of cut fruits when I’m feeling lazy.
Lately, I’ve been sharing more of the recipes that made me — the ones I grew up on, the ones that held me together, the ones that still feel like home.
If you believe food can be a feeling — come sit with me for a while. 🧡
📌 I share meal inspiration, cozy recipes, and quiet little food moments that speak louder than words.

Morning joy on a plate (no onion garlic) ! Karnataka’s humble upma with Tamil Nadu’s coconut–chana dal chutney… South Indian breakfasts never miss.

A colorful thali feels like I’m playing while eating — a little protein, a little fiber, a lot of heart. 💛
Maybe it’s not the perfect plate, but it’s perfect for me. Colors on my thali, calm in my soul. 🍲✨

“Aloo Bhujia isn’t just a side—it’s an emotion.✨
Whether it’s roti or rice, dal or sabzi, that humble scoop of crispy, potatoey magic brings the whole thali together.
Sometimes, it’s the smallest things that make the biggest difference.”

Happy Makar Sankranti ♥️
I personally think, it’s a festival of health coz it’s all about healthy dishes, from sesame jaggery laddu to flattened rice with yogurt, puffed rice laddus and peanut chikkis, everything screams, guilt free.
I have always been that kid who waited for 14th january more than 1st january just coz of these delightful beauties, and for me, I start my year from today because it validates my clean eating resolution every year.
Makar sankranti is deeply tied to our culture, agriculture and health, it’s observed to mark a new beginning.
Also, Sesame is consumed heavily today because during the peak winter time, it helps in keeping the body warm and jaggery is used as the sweetening agent in every sweet delicacy and these two combos, in ayurveda are referred to as two of the most winter perfect foods that help keep the body warm and increase immunity at the same time.
Also, aloo matar gobi ki sabji is staple in our home for the well balanced sweet and salty experience for our taste buds.
I know there are other names of this festival in different parts of India and people have their own unique way of celebrating it but in this part of the world, we start our day by eating plate of edible gems like this and the joy about this is indescribable.
