Our Mission is to create a safe space for women to gather as a community, engage in healthy dialog regarding REAL LIFE issues, and to foster the TRUE meaning of SISTERHOOD!
As Black women, we come from a legacy of discernment, courage, and knowing when itâs time to shift. Our history reminds us that growth often requires release â releasing habits, spaces, relationships, and mindsets that no longer serve who weâre becoming.
This is your reminder: you donât owe loyalty to what limits you. You owe yourself alignment, peace, and forward motion.
Honor your journey. Trust your instincts. And make room for whatâs truly meant for you.
We are all STILL becoming â and becoming requires letting go.
Today, as we step into this new month, let it be with intention, reflection, and renewed purpose. And as we begin Black History Month, let this be a reminder of the strength we carry â individually and collectively.
We all come from a legacy of women who endured, persevered, dreamed, and rose. Women who made space where there was none, who stood tall in moments of uncertainty, and who kept moving forward even when the path wasnât clear.
This month, choose grace over pressure. Progress over perfection. And purpose over comparison. Wherever you are in your journey is exactly where youâre meant to be right now.
Take a deep breath. Reset your mindset. And walk into this new month knowing you are capable, supported, and becoming more than you realize.
Our February book has been chosen, and we're moving right along in The Mistress series, by Author Niobia Bryant.

I'm so sorry to my Book DIVAS- I have to reschedule book club again tonight. For those of you that already know, its year end close with work, and I have to work late AGAIN this evening đ€ŠđŸââïž.
For my Book DIVAS, remember I told yall I read this current book some years back? I just found the images of the hostess gifts I made for our book club meeting. I first read this book back in 2020- ironically, reading it this time around I've found some things that I missed before. đ€ŠđŸââïž
Quick update- we're changing the date and time of our regular scheduled Saturday meeting. A few of our ladies reached out stating, due to the hustle and bustle of the holidays, they didn't get a chance to finish the book, and needed a few more days.
I totally understood, as it's been hectic for a lot of us.
Please update your calendars to Tuesday January 20th- 6:30 pm CST, for our book club meeting.
My reminder for you today is: Pause and acknowledge your strength! There were days you questioned if youâd make it throughâdays that stretched you, tested you, and nearly broke you. But youâre STILL here. STILL standing. STILL believing. đđŸ
That didnât happen by accident. It happened because resilience lives inside of you. Be proud of yourself for surviving what you once thought was impossible, and trust that the same strength will carry you into whatâs next. đđŸ
đ Scripture: We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 2 Corinthians 4:
Itâs the first Monday of the new year, and if youâre feeling excited and overwhelmed at the same timeâYOU'RE NOT ALONE!
With all the ânew year, new meâ energy floating around, itâs easy to feel pressure to have everything mapped out, fixed, and flourishing already. But hear this clearly: you donât have to become everything in one day. This season is not about perfectionâitâs about progress. Small steps count. Rest counts. Relearning yourself counts. Grace counts. You are allowed to move forward gently, while still honoring where you are. đđŸ
If ALL you can do today is SHOW UP, BREATHE, and TRY AGAIN...that is MORE than enough. Growth doesnât need to be loud to be real. God is not rushing you, comparing you, or measuring you by anyone elseâs pace.
As we enter this new year, let this be your gentle reminder: do not let other peopleâs highlights make you question your calling. The wins you see posted, celebrated, and applauded are not the full storyâand they are not the standard by which your life is measured.
Everyoneâs journey unfolds in seasons, not comparisons. What looks like âlateâ to the world may be right on time in Godâs plan. You have a gift. You have purpose. And your wins will come in the stage of life where youâre prepared to carry them. đđŸ
This world can be loud and harsh, constantly pushing timelines that were never meant for YOU âtelling you when you should be married, promoted, healed, established, or âarrived.â But God never rushes purpose. He matures it. He develops it. He releases it when youâre ready.
If God did it for someone else, He canâand willâdo it for you. Their breakthrough is not your delay; itâs confirmation that miracles still happen. So take your time. Learn the lessons. Grow at your pace. Rest when needed. Move when called.
You are not behind. You are becoming. And what God has for you⊠will be for you.đđŸ
I love you, and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it!đ
