Two bands. Two March Madness style tournaments. Two head-to-head song matchups daily. Only one song can survive each tournament!
My name is Beane and I am dedicated to finding the best song created by every musical artist ever, 2 bracket tournaments at a time! Please join me everyday as I whittle away at these tournaments day by day to crown the ultimate song for each band.
This started as a fun game between longtime friends in a group chat and is now being made public and joining people in the competition!

Apologies for the latest delay on getting these finals out. Should be finishing up The Byrds over the next 3 days. I have 2 Battle of the Blaze videos in the can, and just need to edit those to finish up that tournament as well.

Alright folks, we've got the final day of Shellac going up tomorrow and then this will be a one video a day channel after that. It's been a lot of work keeping up with two simultaneous tournaments, and I just can't do it anymore!
Speaking of work, I'm going on vacation at the beginning of the year. I'll won't be around in comments much, but I'll try to post as many videos as I can in the time I'm gone. I'm not sure if I'll have enough posted to cover the whole vacation, but I should have several days posted and ready to go before I leave.

Sorry for the lapse in posts lately. Winter just hit hard in Alaska, so my drives have gotten a lot longer as a result. I probably won't have anything up in the next couple of days, but I'll try to catch up this weekend!

Just noticed a bunch of Byrds songs got removed from my listening playlist. Apologies ahead of time if they start blocking videos. If it happens too much, I may not be able to finish the series. I really don't want another series like my Beatles one where every time I play a song, it has to be warped so much that it's unrecognizable.

In case anyone is wondering what's up with my upload schedule lately, I apologize. After running two simultaneous tournaments (sometimes more) every day for two and a half years, I'm pretty burnt out. The insane upload schedule in conjunction with my driving job with crazy long hours has kinda worn me down. I'm not stopping these tournaments, and I'll get back to Battle of the Blaze really soon. I'm just kinda taking my time on the uploads at the moment. I may switch back to daily, but I might switch to every other day or something. Thanks for watching and welcome to any new subscribers joining in for The Byrds (I know not many new people are here for Magnetic Fields)! And of course thanks to anyone who's been here for awhile!

New vids are a little late today. There will be a Battle of the Blaze video going up, too, at at about 4:20 PM AK time.
My subs always drop when I have more obscure groups going, so make sure you're telling your friends if you enjoy this channel! I won't quit or cry, but it's way nicer to see that number go up than to watch it go down. Thanks to all of you who help out by watching and interacting and subscribing!
