After selling everything I owned in the UK, I retired early and set off to slow travel the world on a budget. This channel follows my first year navigating life after retirement — exploring Asia while learning how travel, health, and reality don’t always go to plan.

HOUSESIT WANTED

If anyone needs a houseitter or knows someone who does in the Tunbridge Wells area end October and November time, could you let me know? I am trying to be near to my new grand baby when she comes!

I will look after most pets but large dogs that need lots of walks may not be suitable (or fair on them) given I sometimes have off days. I have experience of dogs, cats, fish, farm animals and even reptiles!

Bewdley was a lovely surprise! Such a beautiful place to visit for the steam heritage railway but also for the town. Along the river is beautiful. I spent the afternoon wandering around with my very special friends and there is a great little museum here which you can see Alfie enjoyed!
