Channel about fairy tales, folklore, customs, traditions, local legends, nature and other similar things. I'm also occasionally making videos about The Witcher since I'm a big fan of that fantasy world and the idea behind this channel was actually inspired by it to some extent.

Here are some of the books I’ve bought recently as inspiration for my Slavic fantasy world. Since it’s mainly inspired by the 18th-century countryside, the books are mostly about traditional folk costumes, architecture, customs and traditions, fairy tales, folklore creatures, and so on. I have even more of them, but these are the newest ones.

I went to the forest today to shoot some footage for the video about my Slavic fantasy world. It’s starting to get pretty cold out here 🥶

Gloir aen Ard Feainn! ☀️
I really enjoyed Maerkrief. It was the first LARP I’d been to in a long time, and it made me realize how much I’ve actually missed events like this.

I hate comments like this. Every time you dare to utter the words "The Witcher" and "Slavic" in the same sentence, people like this appear.
They’re the reason I started creating my own Slavic fantasy world. Several years ago, I just ran out of patience and since I didn’t want to keep arguing with idiots, I told myself: "Alright, fine. Keep The Witcher then. I’ll make my own fantasy — one that’s even more Slavic, with rustic Slavic architecture, countryside setting, traditional folk costumes, customs, and so on."
And if anyone ever dares to tell me that I just copied The Witcher, I can say: "Wait, wait…I thought The Witcher ISN’T supposed to be Slavic."
Anyway, as it happens, I’m currently working on a video where I plan to introduce my Slavic fantasy world — so I thought I’d take this opportunity to make a post about it and explain one of the motivations behind why I started creating my own Slavic fantasy in the first place.

Over the weekend, we were near Kuttenberg at Maleshov (one of the fortresses from Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2), where our group — the Nazair Brigade — organized a Witcher-themed LARP called Maerkrief. I really enjoyed it, got to fight a bit, and was happy to see all my friends again after a long time. It reminded me how much I’ve missed these kinds of LARP events and made me realize that I want to keep doing them.
My main focus will still be on folklore, but I’d like to stay involved (at least to some extent) with the Nazair Brigade and The Witcher fan community in general.

Just came in the mail. Can’t wait to play it with someone 🙂
I’m heading out for the weekend to a Witcher LARP organized by the Nazair Brigade, so I’ll try to take some photos and share them here.
Also, in case you haven’t seen it yet — I’ve got a new video out about The Witcher Netflix show: https://youtu.be/Ts6CQrt8CHc?si=ieSLm...

I’ve always loved this artwork from the first Witcher game. This is exactly the kind of mundane beauty I love about this fantasy — nothing epic. It reminds me of the nooks and crannies of small towns where life moves slowly. And I just happen to be in one right now.
