The other day I was inspired by the cotton Eyelet lace to design this sweet Angel. This is the first time I added arms to my design. I love the vintage feel of this piece. I am hoping to make a few more to add to my shop this holiday season.

Here is my latest experiment. My idea is to create a freeform style crochet rag rug from leftover strips of mixed fabrics. The photos demonstrate my first try, which was not at all what I envisioned. I started again and found i was getting closer to my vision. I have learned a lot in this process. The most difficult part is getting it to lay flat.

I am currently working on a rag rug custom order. It will be the largest rug I have made so far. My customer requested a 5 foot round rug with sporadic bright colors. So far it is about 26 inches.
