ಸ್ವಪ್ನದಿಂದ ಎಚ್ಚರಗೊಂಡವನು ಸ್ವಪ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರತಿರೂಪದೊಡನೆ ಯಾವ ಸಂಬಂಧವನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೊ ಅದೇ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಕ್ತನಾದವನು ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೂ ತನ್ನ ದೇಹದ ಗುಣಗಳೊಡನೆ ಯಾವ ಸಂಬಂಧವನ್ನೂ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

(Just as a person who has awakened from a dream has no connection with the reflection of himself seen in the dream, in the same way, one who is liberated, though residing in the body, has no attachment to the qualities of the body)
