My name is Jeff and I like to visit all kinds of food places including restaurants, fast food joints, diners, food trucks, grocery stores ... if it has to do with food and it's in New Jersey, I'm there! While the videos do have a review or my personal opinion on something, the channel is more about stories, locations and personal stuff but don't worry ... it always ends with food!
I enjoy hearing about new food items like a new sandwich at a fast food joint or a new snack at the corner grocery store. If it's new, I'm going to try it out for you guys, let you know what I think and have fun along the way!

You might be surprised by a few of these! According to professional chefs, there are three common menu items they tend to avoid:
🍗 Grilled Chicken Breast – Usually a safe, basic choice that chefs say isn't very exciting when you're paying to dine out.
🧀 Mac & Cheese – Often made ahead, sometimes using pre-made cheese sauce, and can be a high-profit item with a pretty hefty markup.
📋 The Daily Special – Here's the controversial one! Some chefs say specials can occasionally be a way for kitchens to use up extra ingredients rather than showcase their freshest dishes.

🍪 Happy National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day! 🍪
Today, August 4, is the perfect excuse to enjoy one of America’s favorite sweet treats—the chocolate chip cookie!
The original chocolate chip cookie was created in 1938 by Ruth Graves Wakefield at the Toll House Inn in Whitman, Massachusetts. She added chunks of chocolate to her cookie dough, expecting them to melt completely. Instead, the chocolate stayed in delicious little pieces—and a dessert legend was born!
Here are a few fun cookie facts:
🍪 Around 53% of Americans prefer chocolate chip cookies over every other kind.
🍪 The world’s largest chocolate chip cookie measured an incredible 102 feet across and weighed about 38,000 pounds!
🍪 One normal tablespoon of cookie dough can hold approximately 50 chocolate chips.
🍪 It is estimated that the average person eats around 35,000 cookies during their lifetime. I may be slightly ahead of schedule!
Whether they are fresh from the oven, dunked in milk or served alongside a big scoop of ice cream, it is hard to turn down a chocolate chip cookie.
