First time in the garden after days of rain and super humidity. I cleared out some more of the Ube vines. I have plans for that area.

Just not sure if my plans will work now that the Discorea Alata bulbils dropped one season, but hoping I won’t be fighting their vines forever. 🙏🏻 Tonight’s harvest is mostly medicinals minus the Carambola (Kari). Blue Butterfly Pea flowers, Lemon Mint blossom and leaves, Lemon Basil, Cuban Oregano, couple of Roselle and a small bunch of bronze Scuppernongs that survived being hit by a major branch from a neighbor’s trim job.
The Butterfly Pea’s are showing out! But it’s about time to plant and replant so so much.

At a concert with Hannah in the midst of big humidity and sweaty summer. lol Outdoors at the @iThink venue, at the @PalmBeachCountyFairgrounds main act just took the stage 6 minutes ago and the incense is burning around me. lol

No live tonight, bad migraine day today had to call and ask hubby to come home kinda BAD.
I laid down for a few hours and I get up for some water and some crackers. Well, sweet little Daisy climbed into my lap to comfort me. This is me giggling a bit after I realized she was just on me for my cracker crumbs.

If I am feeling better this weekend, I am thinking of doing a garden/food forest pop up tomorrow or Sunday.

Hey Sunshine seekers!
I will not be live, I did a real, off the inter-webs thing tonight. I just got home from being with local plant people, gardeners, fruit growers, and fruit lovers. It was great.

Soon I will have my own official name tag as I joined my local Rare Fruit Council International. We learned about pruning trees while keeping their physiology in mind. It was very interesting but also a sore spot.

This past weekend our neighbor had unskilled labor cut a very large limb from an HOA tree that got absorbed into our yard. He cut a 20ft branch in one shot and took out a panel of our fence.
Thankful our company we originally hired put all our posts and panels in right, so only one panel cracked and came down.

Currently, I am listening to thunder and praying for rain. Tonight I was going to do an about me live since I had a birthday yesterday. Sadly, I woke up with a pulled muscle in my neck and the pain is horrible. I have lidocaine patches too that are barely touching it.
Perhaps Sunday night I will be better for a pop up since Barry switched his time. So very sorry to my members. I want to plan for a give away soon just for you all.
Been a rough month and appreciate the gardening, homesteading, artsy and extended YT communities for your support.

Well, I wanted to do a live today, but this weird weather is trying to normalize and give some tropical weather. I try not to be outside when lightening is around. Not uncommon for people to get hit by lightening in Florida. It’s 90ish right now too, so YUCK.

I was hoping to do this live tonight. But I am forwarding it to either tomorrow or next Friday night. I just cannot get set up behind the scenes tonight like I was hoping too.

I love spending time with you all but want to make it worth your time, so let me know, on nights like tonight, should I skip the subject and just have a harvesters hang out, with show and tells, and a free for all for channels to come up and introduce themselves and hang out? Even non-gardening channels like artists that do botanical works. I met a local Cuban American artist and his work is amazing would love to show you some of it.

See you all soon, hoping to get out in the heat a bit tomorrow, but we also may get rain.

Sorry friends no live, and if I have been absent, it’s been for a fun, exhausting, emotional and now back to fun week!
Hilary Duff with my girl last weekend, then our Pastor’s Wife needed an errand on that Monday following the concert and we ended up staying out running errands.

Tuesday & Wednesday house chores, with Wednesday being hard as I started getting really nervous about dropping off our pup early Thursday morning for surgery. Thursday Daisy Grace was getting spade, half day for Hannah, nap for us all when she got home for an hour. Then watching over Malachi & today Daisy. She has been doing great in recovery and is such a good patient. Although she is totally using my heart strings and doing multiple sits for treats.

Tomorrow is Florida Mango Fest #2 for me! We shall see if I end up just going in and not helping in some way. So many years as a teacher and Bridal consultant and other customer service and just service positions I have a hard time not stepping in if I see my fellow Floridians need help.

Let me know my Florida folks if you are coming and we can meet up there and take a selfie together!
