I have sad news today. The Nintendo Ninjas are finally coming after this channel.
So in order to avoid termination, I have made the tough decision to delete all Nintendo soundtracks from this channel, which I will start doing soon after this post goes up.
On one hand it's surprising seeing this happen after they left it alone for over 6 years, on the other hand it might have something to do with them now having their Nintendo Music app.
I may not have uploaded on a regular basis since 2019, but I'm still glad I got to be a relatively popular music extender. The fact that (until I delete the videos) you search for Super Mario Maker 2 music, and MY videos are some of the first results, is just incredible to me.
Writing this post has made me look back on it all, and it's given me a bittersweet feeling. It's sad that it has to end like this, but I'm glad it got to last this long (actually, BrawlBRSTMs3 X lasted about 6 years didn't it?).
So yeah, this is your last chance to listen to some of the music I've uploaded on this channel (I'm sure other channels have uploaded most if not all of these too, but still). I could keep them up and wait for the channel to be terminated, but that could literally happen any day now, and I'd rather not lose the channel altogether (even if it's not my main channel anymore).
To anyone curious, I have other channels that I now upload to on a somewhat regular basis (though they are not music extension channels): My main channel: @lightbeam24 My music channel (where I upload VGM-style music that I actually created): @lightbeammusic
Whether you check out my current channels or not, I just wanna say thanks to everyone that made this channel as popular as it is/was, and sorry to anyone who is disappointed by this. Anyway, I guess that's about it.

TL;DR: Nintendo is coming after this channel, so I'm deleting all the Nintendo music uploaded on this channel to avoid being terminated.
Nintendo has taken down all videos of the Fire Emblem: Three Houses music from this channel. They didn't touch any of the other music on the channel, so the Super Mario Maker 2 music is still there.
I hope they don't do this with every game release, as they didn't do it with Super Mario Maker 2 or Yoshi's Crafted World.
Maybe in a few months to a year they won't be so copyright strict with the game's ost?
