Last time I posted here was about a specific video that will explain all the situation I'm facing right now, and the new updates coming along the whole channel. It should have come a month ago but as usual I couldn't finish it on time.

All I can say is that the video is 95% done, I've got some things to clear that not only concern the video but things around it (you'll get why when you will see it)


I just wanted to tell you all that I'll be taking a short week of vacation, I'm moving to south of France with some friends so I'll keep the video for my return.

And I also have a little question, I'm currently creating a new art direction for my channel. And I'm trying to work hard on the general appeal of my stuff, I'd like to have your opinion on the thumbnail I made for the upcoming video (if you are willing to click it or not for instance).

Hello everyone,

I hope you're all doing well! I had some difficult months recently until I cleared my latest video. And I'm currently preparing an update for this channel, and I will soon release a video explaining the overhaul changes, and news about the current projects (such as Team Sonic Adventures)


I remained a bit silent as I'm dealing with life priorities at the moment. I'm making this update to change the way I'm making my content in the future. I'll try to explain as much as I can in the video.

It should drop in the coming weeks, or a month if I'm too busy.

I did some tests this week with some people to check if everything works well. And I should be able to stream the tournament again.



I will be home alone this weekend so normally my connection shouldn’t go berserk this day.

This is where it all started.



Exactly 10 years ago. I created LucasRPDJ, because I wanted to share my Lego animations I did with my Nintendo 3DS. I wanted a place to post my videos because at the time. I was doing them for my aunt who liked seeing these little animations :).

I never expected to do it for larger audiences at first. I was inventing short stories, with this police car and a few other Lego/Minecraft characters in my small lego town.

Then, I had this weird phase with that one opening CGI of Asphalt 5 (and it's theme song). I deeply wanted to animate something similar to this in the future (and I have eventually done it)

Even before the channel becomes "sonic based" I actually did some old flash animations on a website called "Sonic Scene Creator 5". Years before I do what I'm known for today.
I was still doing it with my Nintendo 3Ds and my dad's computer, in the dark to avoid light artefacts on screen. I was taking 3 hours to make a 2 minutes footage.

For around a year, I kept doing some random videos, I was stuck with 50 subs while my schoolmates reatched around 70 to 100. They also got bullied and decided to stop at some point.

May 21 2017, the date where it all changed.

I uploaded my first Flash/Animate animation. And from there, it grew up very fast.
I learned Animate in one month, and after that I made a bunch of Sonic animations and even started one of my biggest series on date : Team Sonic Adventures.

It started as just a pretext to make an animation on each zone of Classic Sonic games. then became just some wtf thing with dozen of recolored Sonics, until it became the series with an interesting story with my own character.

Speaking of character, 2017 marks the creation of the identity of my channel. I became "that sonic animator with a black and blue Sonic OC", also known as Neon the Hedgehog, who will become my new channel mascot.

2021 marks my beginning in 3D, and I brought with me an iconic car that I adore when I was playing GTA V with my friends : the Neo Zentorno.

I was starting achieving my childhood absolute dream : Being able to animate racing cars, and the 3D Software Blender helped me achieving this goal.

I'm expanding my field of content. And I have a plenty of cool stuff I wish to do during the next decade.

So... let me explain.



I hope you all enjoyed the surprise I prepared for you with this special episode. If some of you are dissapointed that it was not the actual ACT 15. I'm sorry.


ACT N Was a pretty difficult episode to set up. I worked on the scenario for litteral years because I had to try adapting the story I wanted to tell to TSA format.

This episode takes place before ACT 1, and was kinda mendatory to release before ACT 15 comes out, as I try to explain some lore that is necessary for the understanding of the rest of the season.

For long enough, I told you that you'll know more about the lore behind the recolored hedgehog and all. I tried my absolute best to come with something convincing but I admit it was very difficult to come up with something understandable after all the foreshadowing I did thoughout the first two seasons.

Exceptionally, I was the only one to work on this episode. I blended too many different techniques of animation into it and it was way too complex for me to split the work. The rest of the team was focused on ACT 15. The actual episode is not finished as I couldn't supervise two episodes at the same time for the last months. BUT we made some great progress and we should definitely be able to release it for real around May/June if we do well.

As you have seen in the cursed opening credits, we got more people on the team, AND actual voice actors for the characters for the remaining episodes!

For ACT N : Muley and Fluds have voiced the clones and Eggman respectively. The reason why Muley didn't voiced the whole episode was because the half was already done when they started to collaborate with me. And as for the remaining episodes, I do plan to still use some SA1 & SA2 voice samples depending on the context, while the VAs will do more complex dialogs.



This has been a big experiment, merging 2D Sprite, 2D Drawings AND 3D to try make something good was a heck of a challenge, it is not perfect. But there will be room for improvement next time : )


ACT 15 will probably more "traditionnal" with like 80% sprite animation, and maybe 20% should be hand drawn or a bit 3D.

ACT 16 should be as hybrid as ACT N for the finale.

Hello everyone and Happy late Valentines day!

I've been silent for a while, We locked in to work on what's remaining of the next TSA episode coming out next Week, as teased in my latest video for February 21st (my birthday).

After that I'll prepare a short video to talk about what's next on the channel.

I'm taking ages to produce anything, and I would like to go over short productions, and I want to release videos that are not necessarily ambitious or without even a structure for some (like just short animated stuff without story or anything).



I want to expand my creations beyond Sonic and the current format of my videos, I'd like to experiment new stuff and try make my community evolve into something more general, rather than just Sonic related content. It's going to take time, and I'm not going to stop what I'm already doing. Just expanding my field of content.

Hello, and Happy holidays!



I wish to be in vacation too but my school doesn't let me have a deserved break, plus I'll have homework during christmas... T_T


Just to say, I'm finishing preparing a compilation video coming for around Christmas. At least to chill out rewatching my old stuff and adding some fun facts behind the creation of these. Plus I will tease a really special thing near the end so you better not miss it 👀


This was originally planned for this Saturday but with all the homework I need to clear before friday night, I prefered delaying it next week, between Wednesday to Friday max. (just before SMG4's final video)
