Using body fat for fuel doesn’t have to be complicated. It’s a matter of three major factors actually. Let’s keep it simple. As long as you adhere to these three principles you will make progress. I promise!
🔹DIET - You must eat in a caloric deficit. Without this you will NOT lose weight. 10/10 this is why you can’t seem to lose weight. What do you do about it? The simplest method is to track your calories and macros. Use a macro calculator and then track your meals in an app like My Fitness Pal. An easy way to start this process is to make sure you start getting more protein with each meal.
🔹TRAINING -Start incorporating 30-60 minutes of Cardio into your life everyday. It can be as simple as walking. Don’t complicate it, just do it. Sitting all day is not good for your body so make it easy so you’ll stick to it. While losing weight you also want to resistance train for strength 3-5 days per week. Again, make it simple. Be consistent.
🔹RECOVERY - Sounds funny but if you don’t get good sleep and take time off for mental and emotional health you will have minimal progress. You can train really hard but if you aren’t sleeping well everything you’re striving for will be off and progress will be hindered.
🏋🏻♂️If you want to get better at weightlifting you need a weight lifting coach.
🥵If you want to get sweaty, exercising and feel good go workout with a trainer or get some DVDs.
☝️DO NOT confuse Resistance Training, Exercise and Nutrition with one another as they are not exclusive.
