Led by George Galloway, the Workers Party is economically radical with an independent foreign policy. We are against imperialist war. With 210,194 votes in the UK General Election 2024, we are the sixth largest political party in the country by vote share.

The recent Your Party conference has been depicted across the media as a 'parade of left extremism', with a focus on identity politics, especially trans rights, which is being used by opponents to ridicule the party and socialism. Neither Jeremy Corbyn nor Zarah Sultana will now lead the party, which instead will have a collective leadership.
The Workers Party continues to maintain a positive and diplomatic stance. Our party will not participate in attacks on Your Party and members should not condone public gloating, even by those with whom we might agree on the issue of idpol. We express solidarity with Jeremy Corbyn, as Corbyn’s leadership could make Your Party a positive force against the far right.
The Workers Party continues to seek electoral agreements with Your Party to avoid direct competition, but if no agreement is reached, the Workers Party is prepared to act in conjunction with those other independent groups with whom we have already agreed deals or expect to conclude agreements in the coming months and press ahead in our own interests.
