Inspired by my purple butterfly sweatshirt, I decided to create a makeup look that’s bold, beautiful, and classic—just like Merle Norman’s
*Powder Base Foundation**! Did you know this creamy, long-lasting formula is a modernized version of the **very first** product Merle Norman created in her kitchen over 90 years ago?
It’s designed to protect against dryness, environmental pollutants, and the effects of the sun—perfect for winter skin!
**Here’s what I used to create this look:**
💛 **Primer:** 24K Gold Firming Foundation Primer for a smooth, radiant base.
💜 **Foundation:** The iconic Powder Base for full-coverage hydration.
🖌 **Brows:** Brow Sculpting Pencil in Rich Brown for natural definition.
👁 **Eyeshadow:** A dreamy trio of Soft Touch Shadows:
- **Mist** (outer edge)
- **Oyster** (inner corner)
- **Periwinkle** (center for a soft pop of color)
✨ Blended seamlessly with my Merle Norman Blending Brush.
🎀 **Contour & Cheeks:**
- **Contour Stick in Bronzed** for warmth and definition.
- **Cheek Crayon in Berry** for a soft flush.
- **Lasting Cheek Color in Dusty Rose** for extra vibrancy.
👀 **Lashes:** Mascara Primer + **Fat Lash Mascara** for bold, voluminous lashes.
🎭 **Setting Powders:**
- **Soft Focus Finishing Powder** (blurs fine lines & sets makeup beautifully).

Today's makeup was all about highlighting the best of Merle Norman's fabulous products! Here's how I achieved my look:

💖 **FACE** Started with the silky smooth Foundation Primer Plus to create a flawless base. Used Total Finish Foundation in Medium Neutral for a natural yet polished complexion. Sculpted my features with Cheek Crayon in Bronzed for a defined jawline and cheeks, then added a touch of Cheek Crayon in Rose Petal for a fresh, rosy glow. Finished with the Bronzing Powder Duo in Matte for a sun-kissed glow.

👀 **EYES ** Applied Eye Primer to ensure long-lasting color. Used Soft Touch Shadow in Ice on the inner eye and Spark on the outer eye for a beautiful contrast. Defined my eyes with Age Defy Eyeliner in Black Onyx along the lower lash line. Amped up my lashes with Mascara Primer and Xtra Length Mascara in Xtra Black for stunning length and volume.

💋 **LIPS** Defined and filled in with Plush Lipliner in Pinky Swear, then applied Lipstick in City Girl topped with another layer of Plush Lip Gloss in Softness for a lush, dimensional finish and perfect pout.
