Dear Lord,

Thank you for showing us what true love looks like. Help us to be patient, kind, and forgiving, just as you are with us.

Teach us to let go of pride, to avoid anger, and to always choose love over anything else. May our lives be a reflection of your love, and may we bring kindness and hope to those around us.

We trust that with you, we can become more like the love described in the scripture.

Here is a quick prayer to our lord and savior to watch over us during this Thanksgiving holiday.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of this Thanksgiving weekend, a time to pause, reflect, and cherish the blessings You’ve given us. We are grateful for the loved ones we can share this time with, for the laughter, love, and memories being made.

Lord, we ask for Your hand of protection over us throughout this weekend. Keep us safe in our travels and activities, and guide our hearts to reflect Your love in all we do. May this time be filled with joy, gratitude, and peace as we celebrate the goodness of Your provision.

Heavenly Father,

I pray for those who have lost faith in Jesus or who have not yet come to know Him. Lord, touch their hearts and reveal Yourself to them in ways that they cannot deny. I know You are patient and loving, always drawing Your children back to You.

Use me, Lord, to reflect Your love and light, and give me the wisdom to speak truth with compassion. Help me to trust that You are working in their lives, even when I don’t see it.
