Did you know there’s a “cursed” island on the Detroit River? It’s called Peche Island (la Peche means fishing in French). Apparently due to odd deaths and land disputes no one has ever been able to develop here. It was also a Native burial ground, and fish hatchery, so those who believe in that claim it is haunted by the ghosts of fish or natives. I recently got invited to kayak to and through the island with @detroitoutpost ! It was quite the adventure and I made a video to show our journey. The video is posted on my channel now in the OUT EXPLORING PLAYLIST !. Huge thank you to Missy from Detroit Outpost for taking me on such a fun adventure! 🥀🌒 https://youtu.be/MtbVD90RcyM?si=VDU2Q...
I’m so used to spending 14 hours a day in front of a computer while working on my game, that going outside exploring feels like the craziest adventure!! I often wonder if there will be a time in my life where I exist feeling completely “free”, but I’m starting to come to the realization it isn’t possible. For one I like working on creating things too much, I’m a slave to progression. Secondly, I believe we can only be free in momentary bursts as none of us have found a way to outsmart Father Time. Even if I could outsmart “time”, I don’t think I would want to exist in a constant state of freedom. It would be like being happy all the time… if it’s a constant in your life would you even value the feeling anymore? It’s kinda like water. I drink it all day, but my daily coffee is what excites me. Ok there’s my thoughts for now. Thanks for all the love on the latest episode of OUT EXPLORING, if you want to watch my crazy adventure in an abandoned hotel the 🔗 is on my page. ❤️🔥
The Boblo docks, also known as the Detroit Harbor terminal are being demolished. Since I experienced so many memories there over the years, I wanted to say goodbye and use some of the footage and photographs I shot with my friends to give a proper send off to this HISTORIC location. I never thought I’d see so much of the city change so fast. I used to think- well to most people abandoned places are an eye sore. But I can’t reasonably say that when so many people use these places to express themselves, and nothing is uglier than an empty cement lot. I guess that’s a conversation for a different time, when I’ve given this much more thought. If you want to see the full video it’s on my channel! ❤️🔥 #detroit#dronevideography#dronevideo#dronevideos#filmmakerlife#urbexpeople#urbextreme#urbexworld#urbexplaces#urbex#urbanexplorer#urbanexploration#urbanexploring#ontheroofs#historicdetroit
A funny thing about life is how everything takes so much longer than you expect, even when you set your expectations unreasonably far down the line. Or maybe it’s because once I start something, I can’t help but think about what else it could become. Then the questions of was this worth the time, what else could I have done with that time, how much of this do I even have left? All I know is I feel I closed my eyes as a kid, and opened them, and am well well into adulthood. Then I think about the fact I am a filmmaker, drone pilot, photographer, 3D animator, game dev, skateboarder, terrible dirtbike rider, skyscraper climber, dirty abandoned world explorer, the list goes on… I don’t know if thinking like that eases any of my nerves related to the passing of time, but when I do look back at my life thus far, I know the one thing that I was is FREE. It has been a terribly painful journey but I’ve held freedom in my own hands. 👋 The images are work in progress renders from my upcoming documentary film/ video game hybrid project (@mybeautifuldangerouslife), that has been more than a year in the making. A lot of time spent learning, a lot of stress, but exciting to see it all coming together nonetheless. ❤️🔥 #blender#blenderart#blender3d#blendercommunity#blenderartist#cg#cgi#cgart#cgartist#cgmethod#cgartistlab#blendercycles#vfx#vfxartist#vfxbreakdown#3d#3dart#3dmodelling#3drender#3danimation#3dartist#bikelife#nationwidebikelife#blenderrender3d
I got English subtitles done for the Attack On Titan season 4 part 3 behind the scenes documentary from Mappa studios and 100kame! The video reaction will premiere in full on my channel March 1st at 10:15 A.M. , I hope everyone enjoys.
Working on a new 3D animation, but lightning is proving to be much more difficult than I had previously thought despite its erratic nature. I can’t help but see tree branches.
Hey everyone! Here is my character I designed named Bando. They were inspired by a kitten I found in an abandoned building, so I drew them on paper, and eventually 3D modeled them. As I am working on a DocuMetaverse (playable documentary film), I decided it was time to tell the first part of this characters story. I hope everyone will play this game when it finally releases to the public!
It’s here it’s here! I recently bought the entire English manga collection for #attackontitan and I am so excited to continue reading this amazing series.
