Hey Gang!

Wanted to update you on a few things. Videos are a few days behind schedule. I've been really struggling to write recently. I can't lie the lack of good news around IPs that I'm covering is a really demotivating thing. I'm pushing to make sure that I can keep some content rolling regardless but these things take time regardless of the conditions of things.

I'm working on a really big project in the background but I want to make sure I can get a few things tidied away before I talk about it. Lots of long overdue changes.

I can also tell you that we'll be overhauling the content for Destiny to make it a little more like what we've been doing for Marathon. The response to that has been great, we just need a little more stuff to talk about.

I do want to keep the tempo of Destiny coverage a little faster given that it requires less research and is generally territory that I know better. Regardless, that quality bar is something I want to be able to hit a lot more consistently.

Hey Gang!

It’s been a while since I’ve been doing a focused upload schedule. You might’ve heard in my last few videos but in case you didn’t I needed to take a break and really recover from burnout.

Stepping away from the content schedule has really made a few things apparent. One of these things is that I want to get away from the more mundane content that I make.

Don’t get me wrong, lore videos are still my passion and I’ll still make them, but in assessments lately I feel like they’ve become a lot more formulaic than they should. It’s a comfortable pattern that’s repeated too often. Where I can I’m going to try and break that format up and do other things.

That won’t always lead to success but you have to fail to learn, so I’ll do my best to have a crack at new things where I can.

I’ll be back making content soon and might even make a full video on this but first I need to get over the last vestiges of a cold that I’ve caught.

When I do come back to it, expect a little less content than usual as I build up to stuff in the background.
