Sadly…summer is coming to a close this weekend. The kids are headed back to school and we’re all preparing to dive head first into the busy season. This summer was amazing! We traveled well beyond our comfort zone and into what seemed to be another world. It was amazing, beautiful and unforgettable. Raising a family is the most difficult and rewarding job we’ve ever had, but I wouldn’t change a thing. We’re wishing all the kids out there a safe and productive school year. Parents, hang in there and keep busting your butts to raise amazing, kind humans. Have a great school year!!

One of our favorite upgrades for our cross country trip was our Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery. Some days we were on the road for 8 hours or more. We never once had to worry about our refrigerator not being cold when we got to our campsite. It charges fast with our factory solar and was extremely reliable. Lithium batteries have gotten much more affordable these days and they are worth the upgrade if you plan to boondock or travel long days.

We aren't affiliated with LiTime, but we have had great luck with the battery in the link. It has low temp charging protection and they make others with heaters if you are in a colder climate. We mounted our's on the tongue of the camper in the factory location. Just note that we had to replace the battery box with a larger size.
