"Downtown" was released on all streaming platforms on August 15, 2025. “Downtown” is a 2016 song by Lil Peep that takes the shape of a slow-paced but upbeat backing track, with Peep transitioning between softer vocals and a louder, gruffer sound throughout. Producer Lederrick posted the track to his Soundcloud account on November 5, 2017, just 10 days before Peep’s death.

“JUST IN CASE” is a song by Lil Peep that was revealed by SinceWhen on a Peep-related Discord server. At the time, it was assumed that the song might have been recorded for Peep’s Come Over When You’re Sober, Pt. 1 album, however, this was never confirmed.

On November 21st, 2020, SinceWhen went live on Instagram and played snippets for several then unreleased Peep songs, “JUST IN CASE” being one of them. Over the years, SinceWhen teased the song several times and even played it live in full at Hoodfest festival in Finland, though a full recording never surfaced.

In October of 2024, almost 4 years after SinceWhen teased the song for the first time, “JUST IN CASE” was leaked by a user on discord who obtained it from SinceWhen himself. Said user made a deal with SinceWhen to buy the song off of him and managed to get the song file without completing the payment they had agreed on beforehand.

Finally, on March 26th, 2025, Lil Peep’s estate announced the official release of the song as a single, confirming that is was not intended as a track for Come Over When You’re Sober, Pt. 1.
