Many members of the Socialist Rifle Association prefer to remain anonymous for this project. They fear that they'll be targeted by the far right or the police because of their association with the SRA. Many are members of communities that already suffer greater amounts of violence, which is both why they are armed and why they conceal their identities.

Portraits from the Socialist Rifle Association (SRA). The organization exists first and foremost to create a safe and inclusive environment to learn firearm safety. Not everyone pictured is an outright member of the SRA, but all of these photos were taken during their range days where non-members are welcome to shoot and learn with them.
