We are turning 4 years old next month. And my heart swells with joy on how MMM Medical Clinic started.
These photos were taken January 2021 when I, together with my father, was looking for a location. This was my meet-up with the owners of the property.
Our first location was initially at the corner of CL Montelibano Avenue and Circumferential Road at Homesite, Brgy. Montevista, Bacolod City with a space of less than 15 square meters.
A lot had to be done. There was no toilet, no entrance door for the patients, no air-conditioner, no furniture, no clinic supplies, no operations, no system.
I was the first doctor in my family and I had no idea how to start a clinic.
What kept me going was a fire in me with a belief that I and my future team can render excellent service ....armored by my BIG HEART (developed from my parents' upbringing and from being around loving and supportive family and friends)... ...armored by my BIG BRAIN (trained by St. Luke's College of Medicine Quezon City and my international experience and a brain inherited from my parents) ... ...armored by my RELENTLESS SPIRIT (from my personal experiences which God had carefully designed).
Using my money that I had saved from working abroad for 3.5 years and money that should have been used to start a life with a previous life partner, I took the first step to build MMM in January 2021.
To be honest, every single day since January 2021, I work, work and work. No day goes by that I do not work. And fortunately, I really love it despite some mishaps, failures and unwise decisions. They were all worth it.
When I see even just ONE PATIENT get better (medically, psychologically, aesthetically), when I see how that one life has been transformed and in effect positively transformed other lives such as their family, relationships and work lives ... just that one patient fuels me to keep on going for the purpose of GIVING BACK TO MMM, BEING A GOOD CITIZEN OF SOCIETY and KEEPING MY OATH AS A MEDICAL DOCTOR which is to serve the Filipino community.
