Ever feel like throwing in the towel while trying to grow your business?

You're not the only one who's been there.

The brutal truth is, building something truly great from the ground up is one of the hardest things you'll ever do.

But I can promise you, if you stick with it, the payoff makes all the struggle worthwhile.

The real secret to pushing through when the going gets tough?

Staying deeply connected to your "why"

The deeper reasons and core motivations that made you start this entrepreneurial journey in the first place.

It's easy to lose sight of that bigger purpose when you're stuck in the weeds of day-to-day operations, facing one challenge after another.

But I've been in your shoes, and I can tell you from 20+ years of hard-earned experience - the bigger and more powerful your "why", the easier you'll find the "how" to overcome the obstacles and push forward.

When self-doubt creeps in and you start questioning whether it's all worth it, reconnect to that driving force within you.

Let it reignite your passion and give you the fuel to keep going.

Because here's the thing - entrepreneurship is a rollercoaster; the highs are exhilarating, but the lows can feel truly gut-wrenching.

Doubt, fear, and discouragement are inevitable, but the entrepreneurs who make it to the top are the ones who refused to give up, no matter how dark things got.

They kept their eyes on the prize and never lost sight of why they started this wild ride in the first place.

So if you're feeling tempted to throw in the towel, I urge you - don't do it; your breakthrough is closer than you think.

Reconnect to that powerful "why" that set you on this path, and use it to propel you forward, one step at a time.

The journey may be tough, but I can assure you, the rewards on the other side are more than worth it.

And if that’s not enough just remember that a LOT of people need your help.

So by even thinking about giving up, you’re being selfish.

Get out of your own head and into the heads of those you can serve.

Here’s a fundamental truth…

Your outer world - your business, your relationships, your daily life - is a reflection of your inner world.

This is not “woo-woo” talk; this is as real as it gets.

Ever feel like you’re on the edge of greatness, but something’s holding you back?

Think your coaching business is stagnant?

Check your mindset. 🧠

Business strategies, while crucial, are only part of the equation.

The missing piece?

Your inner state, your beliefs, your attitudes.

You can't expect to scale your business if you're not scaling your mindset.

Stop focusing solely on external metrics and start evaluating your inner metrics.

You don't get what you want; you get what you are.

Self-doubt, fear, a lack of commitment - they're not just feelings.

They're roadblocks on your path to success.

And just like any roadblock, you've got the power to remove them.

So, do yourself a favor…

Get real with yourself.

Look inward first, correct course, then watch how the world reacts differently to you.

Reminder - you’ve got more power than you think.

Change inside, and you'll see the change outside.

If it costs you your peace, it’s too expensive.

No dollar amount is worth stress you can’t turn off.

A business that drains you isn’t a business worth building.

Most stress is wasted energy on things outside your control.

Control what you can, let go of what you can’t, and have the wisdom to know the difference.

Your goals don’t care about your feelings

Many people don’t last in business because they let their feelings determine their actions.

But sadly, those feelings are usually fear, doubt, and anxiety.

When you feel that way, you are much less likely to take the necessary action to reach your goals.

That’s why I say “Your goals don't care about your feelings.”

How you feel is completely irrelevant to what's required to achieve the growth you want through your health coaching business.

It's one thing to say, "I'm okay with where I am."

But if you have bigger ambitions, then you have to be willing to do what’s required, not just what you feel like doing.

Motivation is fleeting.

If you wake up one day feeling great and have an amazing day, awesome!

But don't be surprised when you don't have the success you say you want if you can't consistently sustain that energy.

Because the reality is that it's not about how you feel, it's about getting done what needs to get done.

Motivation is temporary. Discipline can't be.

I'm by no means perfect in this regard but I’m very aware that if I can’t act in spite of how I feel, I’m not getting any closer to the big dreams that I have.

The world we live in rewards consistency and punishes complacency.

The marketplace rewards those who continually show up day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, decade after decade.

There is no overnight success.

The delusion in thinking could be holding you back.

So put your feelings aside.

Understand what is required to get where you want to go and do your best to enjoy the process, knowing that the journey will be challenging.

But because the journey is challenging, that's the real reward - because of who you get to become in the process.

Let's go!

Discipline IS the shortcut.

Most people waste time waiting for inspiration to strike.

They act based on feelings which change like the wind.

Discipline skips the wait and gets you moving now, which is why it outpaces talent, motivation, and luck every time.

People pleasing is exhausting!

It's so easy to fall into that trap, isn't it?

We all want to be accepted and approved of by others.

But the truth is, that need to be liked can actually hold us back from achieving true success.

When you're constantly worried about what everyone else thinks, you end up playing it safe.

You don't take risks or put yourself out there in a big way.

Instead, you stay in your comfort zone, doing and saying things that you think will make people happy.

You dim your own light so you don't outshine anyone else.

But that's not the path to real, lasting success.

The most accomplished people in the world didn't get there by playing it safe or worrying about being liked.

They got there by having the courage to be themselves, to go after their dreams, even when it meant ruffling some feathers.

They know that not everyone is going to love them or agree with them.

But they are okay with that.

They are more focused on staying true to who they are and doing what they believe in.

People are drawn to their passion, their conviction, their refusal to compromise.

So if you find yourself constantly trying to win everyone's approval, take a step back and ask yourself - is this really serving me?

Are the sacrifices you're making to be liked actually helping you achieve your biggest goals?

Or are they just holding you back?

Because the reality is, the need to be liked will always come at a cost.

It will limit your creativity, stifle your ambition, and prevent you from taking the kinds of bold, game-changing actions that lead to true success.

The alternative?

Embrace who you are, quirks and all.

Stop worrying about what everyone else thinks, and start focusing on what matters most to you.

Sure, you might ruffle a few feathers along the way.

But that's okay.

The people who really matter will respect you for your authenticity and gravitate towards your unshakable confidence.

And that is where the magic happens.
