hello, theydies and gentlenerds ^^ hope you've all been well. i firstly wanna apologize for not being super vocal about anything going on in my life, i never know if anyone's actually interested in hearing what i have to say so i've instinctively built something of a wall around myself. i don't think you people even know my current interests or such. i'll fix that one day

i've nothing really going on right now. trying to get my mental health in check so i can actually continue with life since i've graduated. it's not going great but i'll work on that too <:]

YES, once more, the day of candy, bloody cosplays, and a lot of orange, purple, and green is upon us once more! easily my favorite holiday, despite the fact i'm not really allowed to do anything for it. religious parents and whatnot.

hello! i wanted to make a video about this as i think it'd work out a little better in terms of getting my words across, but a post is more suitable at the moment due to the fact that i'm using a new device and hence don't have the motivation to make an animation right now.

i wanna go on a quick yap about my name and a change that's gonna come. nothing life-changing, but important regardless.

if anybody recalls, the name i signed with at the end of my birthday animation was "reverie". that's weird, isn't it? haven't i been "zero" for the last 4 years? well, yes i have. and i'm done with it now.

"zero" was the name i went by for basically all of my high school career. it was who i was, and i was happy with it. but that very same time period was some of the most mentally and emotionally exhausting time of my life. i was at my lowest, and many a time, i thought about just cutting my own life short. i never did, thank goodness, but it drained me so badly as a person to be alive for those 4 years of time.

after i graduated, i felt such a disconnect with the name. i tried shortening it and going by "zi", which worked for a short while, but it never really *worked* worked. behind those 2 letters were 4 years of agonizing mental health decline and emotional instability. i couldn't do it anymore.

not long ago, just before my birthday, i settled on a name i wanted to go by - 2 of them, even. the first being "reverie" - a word that means "daydream". the second was the namesake of a song that brings me great joy and comfort - "bernadette" [the song in question being, well, "bernadette" by iamx.]. these two names are what i want you guys to call me. they're what i'm most comfortable with. these can easily be shortened to "rev"/"revi" and "bernie".

i also wanted to say that "zer0mori" will not be sticking either. from here on out, i'll be using the username "rever1e_d4ydr3am" - a play on my name and its meaning, and the number 143 - my favorite number - a number that means "i love you", words that are very, very dear to me.
