We were tasked with comparing a modern movie or tv clip with a movie style we had learned about in class so far (New York Fil Academy, New York: Film History I). I asked if I could do a video essay. He's like "more work, be my guest!" Well, this is the result. He showed the filmmaking department head, who showed the chair, who showed the president, who changed all midterms of the like to full video essays. We are filmmakers. Let them make films!
