Particle accelerator time! 💪🏼☢️ I just returned from a week at the ESRF - The European Synchrotron Research Facility where in collaboration with Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) I performed synchrotron measurements on my nuclear fuel samples! This work is contributing to expanding our knowledge of uranium nitride and composite nuclear fuels. This is a very timely post due to international women’s day. Shoutout to all the women out there for pushing the boundaries every step of the way! ⚛️👩🏽🔬
