Fresh Tracks
Our vision is an outdoor community that is respected, informed, engaged, and works to conserve the resources essential to hunting and fishing.
Randy is the voice of the public land hunter in America. Decades of chasing all species across public lands have provided both experience and perspective that have allowed Randy to become the leading advocate for self-guided hunters–hunters dependent upon public lands for hunting access.
What started by accident has grown into Fresh Tracks with Randy Newberg and On Your Own Adventures, the long-standing Hunt Talk web forum, the Hunt Talk Podcast, and more.
Randy uses his platforms to advocate for hunters and public access. In addition to representing hunters in Congress and state legislatures, he serves as a volunteer and board member for many hunting and conservation groups.

Folks,
I know this is a trying time for many of you. Your lives have been upended, and many of you are struggling to make it work during all these changes. Please take care of your family and friends. Continue to socially distance yourselves and follow the recommended CDC guidelines for personal hygiene. We all want to keep our community healthy and get this over as quickly as possible.
If you or your family are struggling, reach out in your local community for help. As Americans we are at our best in the worst of times. We are all in this together. And if you are able, please help in your local community, whether that is financially or with your own time. Consider supporting local businesses or donating to local food banks. Every little bit helps.
Know that if you need a laugh or some entertainment, my team and I are still going to be creating videos. Our schedule might be on and off, but we are still working as we can. Though not important in the grand scheme of things, we hope our content might provide a welcome distraction during this tough time.
Know that this too shall pass at some point. I’ll see you on public land this Fall.
Randy
