For a lot of us, Kavinsky was the door in. Myself included. I've been thinking about how much this whole synthwave sound has given us, and about one of the people who helped build it from the ground up. Quick word on where the channel's headed, since you've all been so kind in the comments.

This is an instrumental channel at heart. That's the bread and butter, and honestly where I'm happiest. Hours of music to focus, work, and breathe to. That part isn't going anywhere.

Every so often though, that heart needs to sing. So the lyrical ones are staying. They'll just come around less often now. I'd rather hand you a few that really land than push one out every other week to fill a slot.

I've cleaned things up on the channel too. The mixes and playlists are labeled clearer now, and everything's sorted so you're never hunting for your vibe. Instrumental hours in one playlist, the vocal mixes in another. Whatever you're in the mood for, it's right there.

I’ve been reading through your recent comments, and it brings me so much joy to see how unique everyone’s listening style is. I love that some of you use the pure, instrumental tracks to sink into a deep focus, while others are really vibing with the new energy of the lyrical versions.

I love making both, and I want to make sure everyone is taken care of.

To make sure nobody loses the specific vibe they fell in love with, here is our new summer rhythm:

Week 1: A full instrumental album journey. Pure atmosphere and space to breathe.

Week 2: A reimagined, remixed version of that same album with lyrics.
