Hello Everyone..... I'm Faiz Alam — a Dubai-based career coach. Over 500 professionals have landed roles in the UAE working with me, and this channel is where I share exactly how they did it.
I'm not going to sell you a dream about Dubai. I'm going to show you how hiring actually works here — what recruiters look at, what gets ignored, and what the numbers really are.
What you'll find on this channel:
✔️ How UAE recruiters screen CVs, and why yours gets filtered out
✔️ Which companies are hiring right now, and in which sectors
✔️ Salary benchmarks for real roles — not what job sites tell you
✔️ How to reach hiring managers directly instead of applying into a queue
✔️ Visa, contracts, gratuity, and the things people find out too late
Who this channel is for:
Professionals already working in the UAE who want a better role. People in India, Pakistan, or elsewhere in the GCC planning a move.

"We're like a family here."
Every time I hear this in an interview, I have one follow-up question: what happens when I need to leave at 6 to pick up my kid?
Because "family" in a job description usually means:
→ Answering messages at 11pm
→ "We all pitch in" instead of hiring properly
→ Guilt when you take the leave you earned
→ Loyalty expected upward, rarely returned downward
A real family doesn't put you on probation. A real family doesn't restructure you out in Q3.
I don't need my employer to be my family. I need my employer to respect that I already have one — waiting at home, or waiting 3,000 km away for my next flight back.
The best places I've worked never called themselves a family. They just approved the leave, respected the weekend, and let people go home on time.
That's not culture. That's just decency.
Have you ever heard "we're like a family" in an interview? What happened next? 👇

1 million jobs are coming to the UAE by 2030.
> ServiceNow and Pearson's Workforce Skills Forecast puts the number at 1.03 million additional workers — 12.1% growth. That's faster than India (10.6%), the UK (2.8%) and the US (2.1%).
> Where they're going:
> → Manufacturing: 133,000
> → Education: 78,000
> → Retail: 60,000
> → Financial services: 40,000
> → Healthcare: 39,000
> → Tech demand: up 54%, over 91,000 specialists needed
> Now here's the part nobody wants to hear.
> These jobs won't go to whoever is here first. They'll go to whoever is ready first.
> The shortage in this market has never been jobs. It's people with the skills those jobs actually require.
> So stop asking "are there opportunities in the UAE?"
> Start asking: "what do I need to learn in the next 12 months to be the obvious hire in 2027?"
>

When you are fresher, looking for a job in Dubai, keep your salary expectations realistic.
At the same time don't settle for less. Some fresher assume they will get AED 8000 as their first job in Dubai, but it is very unlikely.
The average salary in Dubai for freshers is around AED 2000 to AED 5000.
Some companies offer less than this average Dubai salary also, but I recommend you don't settle for it.
Some companies offer a salary to freshers more than this average number, take it.
Accept a Dubai offer letter when you know the salary you are getting will fulfill your needs of traveling, accommodation, grocery, and other living needs.
Everyone has different requirements some may settle for 2 sharing room accommodations and some may want a personal flat.
So, do your research analyze your needs, and accept a salary likewise.

Everyone tells you Dubai is tax-free.
Nobody tells you what it actually costs.
Rent upfront. School fees per term. Car, insurance, DEWA, salik. Flights home twice a year.
That AED 15,000 offer that felt huge in your home country? After rent and fees, it disappears in three weeks.
So when someone asks for your expected salary, don't calculate what feels polite. Calculate what actually lets you live here AND save here.
For most people moving in, that number is close to 3x what they're earning back home.
Ask for it. The worst they'll say is no.
I can help you in Negotiating your salary in UAE ..

My rules for joining the right company:
**1. No research = no job.**
↳ I always dig deep before applying.
(Ensures I know the company's culture and values).
**2. Employees are the best intel.**
↳ I reach out to at least 3 current or former staff.
(The truth is in their experience, not the job posting).
**3. High turnover = no thank you.**
↳ I avoid companies with constant hiring sprees.
(Sign of deeper issues you don't want to deal with).
**4. Glassdoor tells the story.**
↳ I check reviews for patterns in leadership or pay problems.
(If there's smoke, there's usually fire).
**5. Leadership transparency matters.**
↳ CEOs who are invisible or vague? Red flag.
(You deserve clarity and vision from the top).
**6. Growth plans or bust.**
↳ No room for advancement = no future for me.
(I want to grow, and the company should too).
**7. Gut check = critical.**
↳ If it feels off, I don't force it.
(Your intuition is a powerful tool — listen to it).
**8. Community over perks.**
↳ Cool perks mean nothing if the team is toxic.
(People are everything, no exceptions).
A job offer isn't a finish line. It's a decision. Save this before your next application.
Which rule do you follow the most? 👇

How HR Scammed in an Interview .....
HR: "What salary are you looking for?"
Me: "AED 10,000 to AED 12,000 a month."
HR: "You're perfect for the role, but we can't afford that."
Me: "Alright, I can do AED 8,000."
HR: "When can you start?"
Now, here's the twist: The budget for the role was actually AED 11,000. HR pats themselves on the back for a job well done in salary negotiation, thinking they've saved the company money.
I discovered the pay gap. The result? Dissatisfaction. Disengagement. Demotivated.
After 6 months down the line, I resigned for a better Job and a good salary as per my designation. The recruitment process starts again, leading to more costs in recruitment.
The lesson? To attract and retain top talent, pay people what they're worth.
Let's value our employees and invest in their success. It's a win-win for everyone!
Do you agree?

Stop searching "DMCC jobs."
A free zone is an address, not an employer. DMCC, JAFZA, DIFC — none of them hire you. The companies registered inside them do.
So here's the actual method:
1️⃣ Open the official register
2️⃣ Filter by your industry
3️⃣ Shortlist 20 company names
4️⃣ Apply on THAT company's careers page or LinkedIn
Comment "LIST" and I'll send you the step-by-step directory method. 👇
