KTM has launched its smallest fully-faired sportbike in India, the RC 160, at Rs 1.85 lakh ex-showroom. It sits just above the 160 Duke in price but brings a proper race-bike look and riding position to the segment.

Despite the smaller engine, the RC 160 borrows its sharp design and hardware from the RC 200 and RC 390, giving it a big-bike feel on the road.

Key highlights
• 164.2cc liquid-cooled engine
• 18.73 bhp and 15.5 Nm
• 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch
• 37mm USD front forks
• Dual-channel ABS with Supermoto mode
• Full LED lighting
• LCD instrument cluster
• Claimed top speed of 118 kmph

The bike is currently available only in one colour — black with white and orange graphics. More options are expected later.
