Sapta Shrungi Mata temple, located near Vani in Nashik district, Maharashtra, is one of the most powerful shakti peethas in india. the temple is nestled among seven hills and sits at an altitude of around 4,500 feet, offering both spiritual energy and stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
the main deity is a swayambhu murti of the goddess, carved directly into a mountain rock. she is depicted with eighteen arms, each holding a weapon, symbolizing her victory over evil. according to hindu mythology, this is the sacred place where the right arm of goddess sati fell, making it one of the 51 shakti peethas.
