The tour continues!

I had an incredible time at Poppy Books in Spanish Fork, Utah last night and we had a full room! I read another deleted scene, this time from AMONG SERPENTS, and I had such a good time meeting readers and signing their books. This crowd had great questions, too!

Go visit Poppy Books if you haven't already. It's one of my favorite stores and the booksellers are so awesome. It's fun just to explore.

I left a few extra signed copies as well as DOWNFALL pins and monster coins and bookmarks!

Up next is The Printed Garden in Sandy, Utah on March 27th.

Last night's launch event for DOWNFALL was incredible!

Thank you to all who came. The King's English was a wonderful host, and I had a blast reading a deleted scene from SKY'S END that I wrote a decade ago. I forgot how disgusting the Master of Disposal was, so we had some good laughs while I provided commentary and assured everyone this scene was no longer canon and was cut for a good reason! Haha! I feel truly fortunate and blessed to share my stories with others, and it's such an exhilarating feeling meeting my readers, chatting with them, answering their questions, signing their books, and taking a picture with them. The Q&A section was a highlight in particular. There are extra signed copies at The King's English Bookshop, so if you want to order them online or visit the store, they can send you them. Don't forget to ask about swag. They might have some!

DOWNFALL is now available, and the Above the Black trilogy is complete!

I first dreamed up the Skylands eleven years ago, and I hoped that one day I could turn it into a series. I cannot tell you how incredible it is knowing I am now an author of a completed trilogy. How cool is that?! I have to pinch myself, and not just because today's St. Patrick's Day.

This series is now yours to dive into with your magboots cranked to high, your mobile launcher loaded with a harpoon, your wind goggles strapped on tight. Don't forget: your dueling weapon shouldn't be more than a hand flick away, because in the Skylands there are always those who want what you have. Acts of altruism are rare.

You are all invited to become members of the Gladian crew. Yes, life in the Skylands is harsh. Not only are there giant biomechanical monsters haunting the airs, but it's hard to find true and loyal friends. Still, there is always warmth to be discovered, even in the cold corridors of a skyship. And I hope you find your place on this skyship, because it can always use someone willing to help out with the next hunt or battle, and to be there for support when things inevitably go wrong.

The Skylands are my creation, but they are yours to inhabit forever.
