With Urbex, persistence definitely pays off. I'd been trying to get into this air raid shelter in Hastings for a while as it was pretty big inside. However it was always sealed up.

I was passing nearby a few weeks ago and it was open, so I took my chances and had a good look round!

I will never break into sites but will take opportunities when they arise!

Thwarted!!

I’ve been researching a set of air raid shelters and, after much time spent poring over old maps and Google Earth to pinpoint their location, I set off early this morning to find them. Managed to locate them straight away—but all four entrances were well and truly sealed up!

Such is the nature of urbex—there’s often a lot going on behind the scenes to find places; I don’t just stumble across holes in the ground! For me, that’s what adds to the excitement when you finally locate somewhere and manage to get in.

I’ll be up and out early tomorrow to explore another new location—pretty certain this one’s still accessible!!!

I managed to access a massive set of tunnels in Dover, that has loads of original art. Video will go live tomorrow evening - I loved doing this explore and hope you enjoy watching.

Greetings Dot Watchers! This weekend I'm doing the Centurion Autumn 100 mile ultramarathon which starts at 9am tomorrow.


Currently nursing a bruised rib after squeezing through a very small gap on Wednesday while out exploring. But my own stupid fault! Other than that, feelin' good

Just about to head off for a weekend at the Serpent Trail in Hampshire. Really looking forward to this - it was a great event last year.

Thanks so much for your votes re future content - that's really useful. I'm doing another ultramarathon next weekend (Serpent Trail) so will definitely do a video on that.

Obvs I can't physically run an ultramarathon every week(!), so will also continue to add videos of the other stuff I get up to, which I hope will continue to be of interest.

Just finishing off a video that I'm hoping to upload over the weekend - this is a really emotional one.
