If your job doesn’t provide a comfortable quality of life, then you can’t let the work itself stress you out.
You’re a human being - which means need you need mental peace and occasional rest.
If your job doesn’t provide that peace OUTSIDE of work hours (I.e. enough money to live without financial stress), then they certainly haven’t earned the right to stress you out AT WORK too.
Don’t give maximum effort to a system that only rewards the top 1% while making it impossible for workers to ever own a home or have affordable healthcare.
You ‘stressing out’ over a low level job only takes years off your life while further empowering the wealthy to slave-drive the working class.
I work in Career Services at a large university. ALL of the economic data you’re seeing is propaganda.
Every university I’ve spoken to is seeing major drop-offs in job openings from flagship employers.
Career fairs are having 20-50% fewer employers attend, than just a few years ago.
The economy is abysmal right now. It’s a silent recession, because the politicians won’t acknowledge it.
Wealth concentration is getting worse & just a few tech companies are carrying the entire stock market, but the REAL economy (main street) is in the dumps.
I guess this what happens when we let pdf files run our government & print money.
