Practical painting. That’s what I’m about and what this channel was created for.
There are many channels out there that focus on very intricate miniature painting and they are great for learning how to win the next Golden Daemon award.
But most gamers live with the more real issue of having too many unpainted and unbuilt miniatures, and not enough time to work on them.
In my videos, I focus on high efficiency techniques to get your miniatures on the tabletop faster, without sacrificing quality or pride of work.
I’ll share techniques that I’ve used for years, and ones I learn in my continuing journey. I hope that this will help you speed up your work and start to field fully painted armies!

All my Warhammer Quest: Darkwater miniatures fully painted! What a fun box! I had a blast painting these. I was motivated the entire time and got these done quickly without compromising anything. This year was a much lighter hobby year for me, with very little time to work on my projects and this channel compared to previous years. The world has changed back to pre-pandemic times, with a lot more in-office time required, so my day-job has really eaten up a lot of my hobby time!
However, I’m still happy with the body of work that I was able to complete this year, and I am always thankful for my viewers and followers for tagging along, commenting, and contributing to this channel. This continues to be a labor of love for me, and I enjoy sharing my tips and tricks with everyone here on YouTube. Here’s a toast to 2025, and bring on 2026!
Also, look out for my first big project of the new year, Warhammer Quest: Darkwater! I have a lot of plans for that game. Be sure to tag along to find out what’s next!

I just received my Warhammer Quest Darkwater box and I can’t be more excited! I’m a huge Warhammer Quest fan and this box looks absolutely gorgeous with oodles of cool miniatures. Look out for the painting guides in the coming weeks!
I’m also going to experiment with an episodic video series where I solo play an entire campaign from this boxed set and you can follow along with each episode! It may even be interactive - you can help me make decisions on what story arches to take, planning party composition, and etc as we journey the game together.
I’m still noodling on it. More to come!

I’ve been getting a lot of questions about Perry Miniatures’ Travel Battle, featured in a few of my videos. I have noticed that this excellent mini tabletop game has been sold out all over the place, including Perry Miniatures’ website.
I reached out to Perry’s and Alan Perry was gracious enough to reply:
“Yes, it’s still available on our website although on backorder as we are waiting for stock. People can order it and we’ll send them out as soon as we receive them which should be about two weeks.
It’s been a huge surprise to us with massive explosion of orders coming in.
With the the big interest we have been talking about additions to the game over the last couple of days. We haven’t settled on exactly what additions yet.

Can’t believe that three years passed by just like that! It’s been fun running this channel, and I love how my hobby journey may have helped others on theirs!
I enjoy the comments and exchanges with everyone. Keep them coming! Of course there are more videos to come. Juggling work, life and hobbying can be challenging but I’m still very much still doing this YouTube thing!

I would like to humbly thank my 5,000 subscribers for supporting this channel. This is a milestone I never expected when I started this almost three years ago! It’s been loads of fun and I enjoyed interacting with everyone over that time.

Got the Marvel Crisis Protocol Core Set fully painted over the weekend! Probably one of the most fun projects I have worked on to date. I’m putting the video together and it should be out in a few days, so look out for that. This was an easy, satisfying, and fast project that I would recommend to anyone!
