🌕 Community Post – Tomorrow’s Video Release 🌕
Tomorrow we’re sharing something especially meaningful with our Squatchin Adventures community.
🎥 Bigfoot Under the Wolf Moon | Family Investigation, Wood Knocks & Strange Sounds
This video isn’t just an investigation — it’s a family milestone.
A few months back, our 11-year-old grandson asked us if we could take him on a Bigfoot adventure. What made that request so powerful is that last year he was actually afraid of Bigfoot and was having nightmares. We’ve been gently working on reframing that fear — sharing that these can be forest beings with their own personalities, and that curiosity, respect, and listening can replace terror.
During his visit with us this past weekend, we were able to offer him a safe, introductory experience — and he was absolutely enthralled with the daytime investigation. He was on fire with excitement and quickly asked if we could try a nighttime investigation as well.
We headed into an area where we’ve had unique experiences in the past, keeping things lighthearted and fun. There was laughter, learning, curiosity — and yes, Pops even broke out in a dance under the full Wolf Moon, sharing the lighter side of something that could feel scary.
You’ll see Pops guiding him through:
👣 Wood knocking
📣 Call blasting & whoops
👂 Learning how to listen for responses
Our daughter and daughter-in-law joined us too, stepping right in and even offering up their own wood knocks — making it a true family experience.
Toward the end of the night, our grandson started feeling uncomfortable and let us know he was ready to head home. We listened, wrapped things up, and affirmed how brave he was for trying a nighttime investigation at all.
We consider the entire experience a huge win.
Once we arrived back home, he was back in full swing with Squatch talk — already making plans to spend his own money on a baseball bat wood knocker, asking about gear, and dreaming up future adventures.
This one is about:
🌲 Replacing fear with curiosity
🌕 Creating safe experiences
👣 Honoring boundaries
❤️ Celebrating courage and excitement

🌲 A Year in Review — Thank You, Squatchin Adventures Family 🌲
As we reflect on the past year, our hearts are full.
This year brought us boots on the ground adventures, winding forest roads, snow-capped mountains, quiet creeks, late-night investigations, unexpected moments, and shared curiosity about the mysteries that still live deep in the woods. We explored through all seasons — sometimes with answers, sometimes with more questions — but always with respect for the forest and those who walk it with us.
More than the places we visited or the moments we captured, it’s the community that made this year special.
To every subscriber, viewer, commenter, and quiet watcher — thank you.
Thank you for showing up with open minds, kind words, thoughtful questions, and encouragement. Thank you for leaving happy comments, sharing your own experiences, and being part of this journey with us. You’re not just viewers — you’re part of the adventure.
This year also reminded us that the journey isn’t always loud or fast. Sometimes it’s slow, reflective, healing, and real. And we’re grateful that this community allows space for all of it.

Squatchin Adventures 50+ Years Around the Sun

I wanted to share a special birthday gift with you all.
My daughter gifted me The United States of Cryptids and it felt especially meaningful. 💚
While our focus will always be Bigfoot, this book reminded me of something bigger than just one legend.
This book reminded me how many stories live quietly in the woods across America.
And it’s interesting how many cryptids are tied to forests and remote places — just like Sasquatch.
Different regions. Different stories.
But the same sense of mystery, curiosity, and respect for the unknown.
It felt right to share this here with our Squatchin Adventures community, because what connects us isn’t just one being — it’s the love of the woods, the stories they hold, and the time we spend listening.
Thank you to my daughter for such a thoughtful gift, and thank all of you for walking these trails with Pops & Nana.
