This painting is a Caladium jungle full of patterns, textures, and hidden parrots.

I wanted this illustration to feel like walking into a tropical plant shop where everything is colorful, dense, and slightly overwhelming in the best way.

There are six different varieties of caladium leaves in this piece.
Some have green backgrounds with colorful speckles.
Some have red backgrounds with delicate veins.
Some are dark and dramatic with black patterns.

Each variety has its own rhythm of veins and textures.

The goal was to create a layered jungle of leaves where your eyes keep discovering new details.

And hidden inside the foliage are a few parrots quietly sitting among the plants.

🌵 Quiet Color Escape is now available as wallpaper.

The cactus and pool scene from my 27 minute paint with me video is now available as wallpaper and line art.

This painting was inspired by warm cactus colors, soft green water reflections, and the quiet feeling of a calm staycation afternoon.

Layer by layer the painting grows from loose sketching to bold color blocking and transparent layers that build depth in the water.

A pink and white floating ring adds a playful contrast to the peaceful scene and turns the moment into a small summer escape.

BUILD A HIDDEN GARDEN.

This illustration started as a simple cozy corner of a room, but slowly turned into something that feels like a hidden indoor garden.

Peonies, orchids, bookshelf plants, tiny mushrooms, imaginary book titles, and a quiet moment where a girl rests while holding a fox.

The canvas for this piece is 8000 × 6000, so I was able to hide many small details inside the scene. Some of them are easy to notice, but others only appear when you look closely.

I especially enjoyed painting the layered peonies, designing the tiny book spines, and adding small ribbons to the character’s hair at the end.

While painting this magnolia illustration, I designed the folding screen in the background as four different landscapes. Each panel has its own atmosphere, so the scene almost feels like four separate worlds quietly sitting behind the flowers.

Others might see four different moments of the day.

Instead of carefully drawing every petal, I focused on layered strokes, color variation, and subtle shifts in brightness so the flowers feel alive and full of movement.
