Okay last advice show there was a question by a woman whose boyfriend had a "work wife" who was hella extra. I have questions, if you have insight please share.
I am looking for an explanation of what a work wife is.
Why do women at home accept this emotional split especially when they ain't even the home wife!?
How does this happen?
Is this a threat to the key relationship or just fun and stupid?
Is it different when a woman has a "work husband" meaning are women better able to make and maintain boundaries?
Inquiring minds wanna know.
USA Today ran an article saying that having a work spouse isn't a bad thing unless boundaries are crossed? Well the home spouses have vastly different boundaries than their partners do with their work spouses.

I finally gave up and moved the show to Friday .... AFTER thanksgiving. I been cooking my ass off and baking and I am frickin exhausted. I'm too old for this. The younger women in the family need to take over starting next year. The four of us elders cooking for 60 people... it's too damn much. I started on Monday and finished today.
I made: (1) my grandmother's rolls recipe. Just the dough and shaped into the clovers and put in the pan in the fridge; (2) 10 sweet potato pies. since its a home oven I can only put two pies in at a time for them to cook correctly so that took all damn day and part of the next day; (3) 2 pans of cornbread for dressing; (4) corn okra and tomato gumbo (just one med pot of that); (5) black eyed peas (not traditional but they want them at Thanksgiving and NY Eve so I make it--- my own recipe); (6) grandmothers peach cobbler (just one pan first come first served); and (7) my grandmothers' butter cake (just one, also first come first served).
I am the only one in the family with her recipes so I am "volun-told" to make certain dishes every year. But guess what? I am about to type these puppies up and email them to everybody - men, women, children older than 3.. everybody is getting this shit. I am so exhausted I can barely see and am seriously about to take a shower and go to bed at 5:30 in the evening!!!!! SMDH
