I produce soulful Messianic electronic music that makes you dance like King David and worship the King of the Universe.

The name comes from a combination of the Hebrew words Kavod (glory, honor, abundance) + Avodah (labor, service, worship)

Our songs come out of lived experiences following the way of our glorious Father & King, as well as re-imagined, modern versions of your favorite Psalms and other passages in the Bible.

Whether you're just listening to instrumental background music while working or preparing a sermon, or looking for that expresses the emotion you're feeling inside, we pray that God's Spirit will be at work in your life to bring you closer to himself, no matter where you find yourself on the journey.

Shalom!

You didn't fit the mold growing up.

Too quiet, too much, too different, too many questions.

So somewhere along the way, you got the message: faith wasn't for you. You thought you were too much for God.

But something in you never fully believed it. A nagging sense that God had to be bigger than the box you were handed.

That nagging sense was right.

He was never confined to the version you were taught. But His voice has been echoing the whole time—quiet, underneath, still at work.

May that ember turn into a flame.

Drop a 🤍 if His Spirit is still at work.

These ancient words shook the temple to its core. the prophet Isaiah had a spiritual awakening, when he saw and felt the presence of the most high God.

What is your response to this overwhelming experience? you worship.

holy, holy, holy Is the Lord God Almighty, the whole earth is filled with your glory. 🔥🔥🔥

You may have heard this song at the end of my Quest for God album. I've been experimenting with some new styles including a tinge of dubstep that captures an essence of this song that is hard to put into words—you just have to _feel_ it.

Shekinah is a Hebrew word used to describe the presence of God. Not a vibey feeling, but a real, tangible, weighty presence. In the Bible, God's Shekinah was a physical cloud that would descend over the Israelites.

I read these words and often take them for granted. But don't miss what's happening.

God—the creator of the universe—wasn't content to stay separate from humanity. He wanted to be known by them. He wanted to reveal Himself to us.

And so He moved in a powerful way. He showed up physically and tangibly.
And overwhelming display of power and might and awe.

When God shows up this way, when the cloud of His presence descends, there's only one response—worship.

You fall on your face like Isaiah, saying "Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God almighty; the whole earth is full of His glory!"

And while you may balk that those days are long gone—that God stopped showing up physically, I argue that He's just as present today that He was 3 thousand years ago.

The issue is that we've conditioned ourselves to not recognize His presence.
We've believed the lie that everything can be explained to the point that no mystery is left.

God's presence is all around us if we only will have eyes to see it.

May you experience the Shekinah as you open your heart to the awe and mystery of a God who has drawn near to us. ❤️

In Psalm 122, King David wrote a Psalm of Ascents with a famous line that is contested by many today: Pray for the peace of Jerusalem—“May those who love you be at peace! May there be shalom within your walls—quietness within your palaces.”

On Friday, May 15th, we'll declare these words again with joy, in a way that makes you want to dance and worship the King of Kings.

Psalm 91 paints a picture of someone facing the most difficult circumstances. Enemies attacking, sickness threatening, and darkness surrounding, with every reason to fear.

Yet this place is only dark because they are in the shadow of the Most High God. Like a mother bird, wings surrounding her young, God protects and shields His people.

In Hebrew, El Shaddai is one of the names for God that means the Almighty or Most Powerful. El Shaddai is the shadowing One who is always near, protecting those He loves.

So maybe the question isn't "why is it so dark?" Maybe it's "how close must He be for me to be standing in His shadow?"

I wrote this album out of a painstaking journey through a dark night of the soul.

Wrestling with doubt and disillusionment, my faith was deconstructing. I was questioning the purpose of my existence.

On the mountain-top, we think we have all the answers, but life throws us a curveball that plunges us into the valley of despair.

This is the universal Quest for God.

Will we surrender our need for control and learn to trust?

May we all finish this quest with a fire still burning. 🙏

Do you pray?

If so what does it look like?

Abraham Joshua Heschel once wrote, "[Our prayers] must not fall off our lips like dead leaves after autumn, but rise like birds into the vast expanse of eternity."

Do we only approach our Father and King with our cries, or will we bring Him an offering of praise fit for a King?
