KINGDOM WATCHER CHANNEL
FROM THE CHIEF APOSTLE’S DESK
“THE BREATH WE DID NOT EARN AND THE FATHER WE ARE INVITED TO KNOW”
Let it be established in truth and in the fear of the Lord: no man has earned the right to awaken to another day. No breath is owed.
No heartbeat is guaranteed. What we call “another day” is not a wage paid to humanity, but mercy extended from the throne of God.
The illusion of entitlement collapses under the weight of Scripture.
Job 34:14–15 (KJV) If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath;
All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.
The very breath in our lungs is not self-sustained. It is held together by the will of God. If He recalls it, flesh returns to dust. Therefore, no man can stand before heaven and declare, “I deserved this day.” This is the humbling reality of creation: we are sustained, not self-existing.
Even the Apostle confirms that life itself is not in our control but in God’s continual provision:
Acts of the Apostles 17:25 (KJV)
“Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things.”
God is not indebted to humanity. Humanity is completely dependent upon God.
Yet, in this sovereign authority, we behold something deeper than power. We behold desire.
God does not merely will to be known as Creator. He reveals His heart to be known as Father.
Psalms 103:13 (KJV)
“Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.”
This is not mechanical creation. This is relational longing. The Lord, who holds breath in His hand, extends compassion as a Father to His children.
But this Fatherhood is not universally realized by all who exist. It is revealed and entered through divine adoption.
Romans 8:14–15 (KJV)
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Here is the distinction. God is Creator of all, but Father to those who are led by His Spirit. The breath of life is given to all, but the relationship of sonship is granted to those who are brought into covenant through Christ.
Even more, the Apostle reveals that this invitation into sonship was always the intention of God:
Ephesians 1:4–5 (KJV)
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world…
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.
This is not an afterthought. This is the pleasure of His will. God desires sons and daughters, not distant creations.
Therefore, the statement stands with Kingdom Clarity: You did not earn this day.
God did not owe you this breath.
But in His mercy, He gave it as a gift. And in His love, He calls you beyond mere existence into relationship.
Even the Messiah affirms this invitation:
Matthew 6:9 (KJV)
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
He did not instruct us to pray, “Our Creator only,” but “Our Father.” This is access. This is intimacy. This is Kingdom identity. Yet, this revelation demands response. To receive another day and reject the Father is to misuse mercy.
To breathe His air but deny His authority is to live beneath the purpose of your creation.
Lamentations 3:22–23 (KJV)
It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
Every morning is not a right. It is a renewal of mercy. And mercy is not given to be wasted, but to lead men to repentance and relationship.
THE APOSTOLIC CHARGE
Let every man examine himself in the light of this truth:
You are alive today not because you earned it,
but because God allowed it.
And He allowed it for one reason above all,
that you might know Him not only as Creator,
but as Father.
Govern yourselves accordingly.
It’s Kingdom or Nothing.
