Happy St Andrews day friends! Especially to all my fellow Scots out there. Missing my nation so much today and reflecting on the Apostle Andrew. Andrew was the brother of Simon Peter, a fisherman and one of the first to recognize Jesus as the Messiah! Andrew is the patreon saint of Scotland and his legacy as a faithful disciple and martyr for Jesus is commemorated in our national flag. Apparently when Andrew’s enemies decided to put him to death for spreading the good news about Jesus in Greece his request was simply..please crucify me on an X shaped cross because i am unworthy to die as my Lord Jesus died!
