This channel started out as a way to promote our DVD of Techachapi railroad action circa 1994. Well, analog standard definition video isn't in vogue anymore, so we've copied the DVD in its full resolution content to our playlist, Tehachapi: End of An Era.

Retro Railroading
Hello everyone,
I've been rather inactive on the Retro Railroading channel for many years. The reason why is obvious: I can't go back to the mid-nineties to shoot more action!
I've started another channel called Gerätköpfe, literally "gearheads" that will talk about photography and watch collecting, among other topics. The new channel is here:

Only four videos so far. None on photography.
Coming up, I will be publishing a head-to-head comparison of four different camera sensor formats: point-and-shoot, Micro 4/3, APS-C, and full frame. The test subject is the Niles Canyon Railway (https://ncry.org). So there will be some nice shots from on-board a live steam railroad.
These videos won't be available for another two months at least. It's a lot of work to edit all of the test shots into a comprehensive video.
