When I first got in the driver’s seat, I had no idea where the road would take me. I didn’t have a map or a plan, I just knew I needed to GO. There were times I thought I would never get there, but It wasn’t until I reached the end that I realized it was never about the destination (which would always be a moving target), but the GOING.
My debut album “Westbound” is about the going.
I have poured everything I have into this project. The people that love me have poured everything into it right along side me, and I couldn’t be more grateful for every one of you who helped me bring my story to life in this album. YOU are the reason I would sacrifice my sleep, my sanity, and myself.
I realized my calling a long time ago. I knew it was going to be this or nothing else. It wasnt until making this project, though, that I realized that my calling wasn’t for people to see me “win” - it was just to see me DO.
Because somewhere out there, some kid will be staring at the ceiling in the middle of the night, tears streaming out of their eyes while they envision their wildest dreams. They’ll lay there and wonder with passion and despair how the hell they are ever going to get there, especially with their circumstances.
Maybe, just maybe, when they do, they will remember the girl who lived on a gravel road 5 miles outside a town of 300 people who had a wild dream too- and against all odds, she went for it. So hop in, turn it all the way up, and I’ll see you on the open road.

Whether it has been perseverance, endurance, or even just straight up foolish stubbornness, I have carried the burden and great responsibility of this dream on my back my entire life. I would lay awake at night as a child on that tiny farm in a 300 person town and stare at the ceiling, tears rolling out of my eyes while I imagined singing to you. More than a fantasy- a calling.
When the time came to choose between comfort and destiny, I fixed my eyes on the horizon and drove west.
I will never give up and I will not be moved.
This is my origin story…. you ain’t seen nothin yet.
There is a version of her/me/you that was born out of the need to survive.
She is hard, Relentless, fearless to her own detriment, determined to the point of insanity, and she will not let the part of me that is afraid win the war over my destiny.
She won the battle over the version of me that would’ve married a farmer’s son in the town of 300 people that I grew up in and never left. She showed tough love to the version of me that would’ve given up on this dream the first time I got stage fright or the first time someone I trusted in this business let me down.
Every time I have been at my lowest, broken on the bathroom floor because it seems I am out of options and will never be able to overcome the obstacle that lies ahead… she appears with a look in her eye that says “bitch, cowboy up, we got work to do”
Who will win in the end? The Lion or the Lamb? Guess we will have to find out together.
"All Boots" is OUT NOW and you know we had to make a movie 🎥 I’m eternally grateful for the incredible team that doesn’t shy away from my crazy ideas and instead grabs the bull by the horns and brings them to life beyond my wildest dreams. And for my amazing friends that were so down to share their star power to tell this story- yall are my family for life.
