Today, I went to my very first Vintage Computer Festival Southwest @VCFSW and I gotta say, that was awesome! Here are some pics of what I saw. So many computers and tech from my era. I barely scratched the surface. The Tandy CoCo 3 is dear to my heart! I may put together a vlog of sorts once I get some more footage.

It's 2007 and BLOCKBUSTER is on the cutting edge of making itself obsolete. I was actually on the Netflix mailer side of things and remember the excitement of getting a DVD in the mail, especially an older movie. We used to visit a small mom and pop movie rental store in Arlington that eventually shut down. Any movie on a DVD was considered "new". Times are changing but there is a growing trend of younger people trying out VHS. How did you get your movies in the early 2000s?

Hey retro folks! I hope your 2026 is off to a great start! If it isn't, I hope and pray that it will get better as the days go on. Speaking of things getting better, I want to let you know that I'm rebranding my YT channel! You're probably wondering why is he doing that or maybe you're not wondering anything at all. No worries, this trek that I've been on has been really insightful and I want to keep the momentum going. I really enjoyed the ALVATRON_X brand cause it was a mixture of my last name and tron, which was sort of an homage to 80s pop culture... the Transformer Galvatron and the movie Tron. Seems like Tron was inserted into all kinds of things. Anyways, my handle has changed to @PurpleLimeMedia and I still plan to curate retro commercial content. I will also add more similar content going forward. VHS to digital transfer is already what I'm doing but I plan to go a little deeper and explore this nostalgic artform deeper. I found my childhood Hulk Hogan action figure and used ChatGPT to do some fun artwork. You can see the comic look vs the original. A long time ago I placed a WCW nWo sticker on his headband. Adhesive still works!
