Doc Maitri was fascinated by the heart from her school days.A hallowed journey through the halls of Medical College, Calcutta, S.S.B Medical College, Cuttack and finally National Board of Examination, New Delhi. The journey began from the children's wards in hospitals where heart diseases were always feared and both families and doctors get confused.
This series has 3 objectives:
1. Empowerment of all CHD families to rapidly diagnose, treat, refer and save tiny hearts .
2. Train the doctors of the future
3. Be the voice and a support community for our families.
